nah this an American Holiday... we dont get the day off here and I havent seen too much celebration about it.

I wanted to take off but my section/department at work is small and someone was already on vacation this week so I had to hold the fort down.

Emancipation day and Mary Prince day out here this year is July 31st and August 1st tho.. so we get a 4 day holiday weekend of celebrations
