Depends on how you define meaningful basketball

His second year he played 75 games....shot 39% from 3, 7.6 assists per game and the Horners won 43 games while making the playin

Granted that was almost 4 seasons ago and since then he's played 36, 22 and 47 games which is extremely nasty

With that being said....Jalen's highest PER for a season was this season at 15.1.....the lowest Lamelo ever had was his rookie year at 17.5

Also if Jalen isn't scoring the basketball he's literally doing nothing else for you...Lamelo still has other skills to fall back on

I realized about halfway through typing this that Im being trolled but I had already typed too much lol

Those stats in a perfect environment catered to him are cool in a vacuum but idk if it translates outside of charlotte

I would have to see it

You’re right though atleast Lamelo can fall back on playmaking

Jalen green could be the man if he spent his career in Charlotte for all we know

Calling the Hornets the perfect environment for anybody is crazy lol

Jalen Green had an 11.5 PER this postseason when we needed him to do the one thing he's supposed to be good at

lol come on man I mean in the sense that everything is catered to him in charlotte

Sure he wishes he had a rim running big but as far as playstyle and no real accountability since they sent borrego packing it’s been the place that’s been stunting his growth due to the comfort

Also 11.5 PER in the playoffs >>>> 0 PER

His time is almost up

And to be clear I was thinking about Lamelo because idk who realistically is going to be available, of course a lot can change but as of right now it looks like Giannis is staying put, we probably aren't getting KD and the Suns are committed to being a dumpster fire while holding Booker hostage

So who does that leave between now and next summer?

Darius Garland would be great, he might actually be a possibility
Jaylen Brown? At one point I would've really been down for this but he might be damaged goods
Luka isn't leaving LA
Hope The Wolves are a disaster and see if Anthony Edward's wants out? Still probably 2-3 years away from that happening
Jokic if Denver can't figure it out? Probably not happening


Also Jalens extension kicks in this season making 33 mil, Lamelo making 37....it would be very easy to get to the matching salary.....if we could fleece them I would be interested in doing this....maybe
