The instant you plotted on my kidnapping...we're not longer blood. I no longer have a brother. Ain't no coming back from that.

Ehhhh Fredo ain’t know they was trying to lay the murder game down

Honest mistake he made up for
Bruh, had anybody else did that Mike would have them killed.

It Mike let's this slide after all the other shit he let slide, his men would have turned on him. Big bro had to go

He ain’t plot on anything he just accidentally gave the lo
Didn't Mike warn him already about this type of stuff. Fredo sided with Mo Green in the first movie and then pulled that shit in the second movie. How many more chances you want him to get. Fredo said he gave up the location because he thought something was in it for him, nah that dude had to go

I thought I voted 'Yea' meaning yeah he was right @Goldie can you change my vote fam???

Michael had to do it, there was no other option... Its not like Michael could excommunicate Fredo to a remote island, Fredo would still manage to fck it up... And others would know he let his own blood get away with trying taking him out...

Not only are there rules to the game and Fredo was boardline special needs, his excuse being he 'ONLY' thought rival mobsters would kidnapp Michael and his family is ridiculous... If my brother had try to have the mob or rival family kidnapp me and my family, there would be no coming back...

Even when they had the sit down Fredo was a jealous mf'er who wanted to be the man. Who's to to say he wouldn't listen to someone telling him to bump off Mike and he be the Godfather.

It's been awhile since I saw it but didn't Fredo betray him after he put Fredo in with Green?

Couldn't he have just sent Fredo somewhere more isolated. They seemed to portray Fredo as someone that's not intelligent and easily manipulated. Kind of asking for trouble by sending him to a place where one of the families has access to

I'd say Michael was probably going to spare Fredo up until they had a sit down and Fredo's resentment at being passed over was on full display. That let Michael know that no matter what he did for Fredo that resentment would always linger and there'd always be a chance someone else could exploit it.

Fredo being a weak fuck-up was the majority of the reason he had to go.

The assassination attempt was the icing on the cake.
