We're proud of our heritage. Anybody that was born outside of the US or their family were, we're proud to be from our countries even if we had to leave it for better opportunities. I came here when I was 1, I was essentially born here and I'm a US citizen but I love being Nica. I love my people

That’s true. I’d just counter that by saying if it were Jews protesting anti-semetism or Ukrainians protesting the US response to the war you’d see those flags flying high all over the place and no one would care about the optics.

That said, I do get the reality that it’s brown people so of course they’re not granted the same grace. So US flags would help with the optics, unfortunately.

Another way to look at it is the far right has turned the American flag as a symbol just for them. Having the American flag prominent sends the message that the flag belongs to Latinos just as much as Whites.
 
Marines are coming into LA, being said they’re ready to fuck shit up… doesn’t sound good.


Also, Texas is now doing what LA is.


This is about to break all across America

law abiding citizen and illegal immigrants is contradictory but it dont matter to mw..i live in a predominatel part of town and 8ndont have no oroblems or malice.....

its juat that all that stuff i heard when i was young of howntbey are basically replacing black folks is kind of true now
