Hill vs Rountree​

The upcoming fight between Khalil Rountree Jr. and Jamahal Hill is scheduled to take place on June 21, 2025, at the Baku Crystal Hall in Baku, Azerbaijan, as part of the event UFC on ABC: Hill vs. Rountree Jr..2
This bout was previously rescheduled multiple times. Initially, it was planned for UFC 303 in June 2024, but it was canceled when Rountree withdrew due to unintentionally ingesting DHEA from a tainted supplement.2 The fight was then rescheduled for April 26, 2025, at UFC on ESPN: Machado Garry vs. Prates in Kansas City, Missouri, but it was again postponed after Hill pulled out due to a lingering leg injury.

Surprised they just gave it to Aspinal and didn't just make a match for it between Aspinal and the next highest contender.
Aspinall has taken out a majority of the top 10 already though im pretty sure. Besides Gane, there isnt really a contender that can fuck with him. I think the only guys would be Volkov and possibly a rematch with sergei. I gotta refresh my memory on the rankings though.

Gane has only ever been impressive to me when he fights a fat heavyweight like Tai or Derrick Lewis. Against a mobile HW his chances drop dramatically. I think itll be an easy win for Aspinal. he gots speed, ground work and striking in the bag. Besides him theres honestly no one in the current HW division thats too impressive imo. Now that the division can finally move forward though and has a pretty decent star with aspinal i think we will be seeing a lot more focus and development on the division.
