Trust me as a Wayne fan since elementary school......this is fucking horrible music.

So despite the public criticism, I wanted to give this a listen and form my own opinion.
I came away with this. Lil Wayne can still rap, however this album is a mess and has no direction. The beats selection was awful, pretty sure I heard a song w a fucking elephant sound in it, at first I thought it was just a quick ad-lib or some shit, but nah. They really brought that shit back a few times smh. The hooks are bland and wack. The autotune is doing more damage than good and there was a line that said something about having a preference to vagina that goes “squish, squish, squish” the fuck??
The only positive that came from my listening experience of this album, was that I won the online Madden game I was playing while hearing it.

No. The ability to rap and put together good verses is there. Wayne should do what these older veterans are having success doing.
Lock in with one producer that oversees the album and provides most, if not all the beats and helps with song arrangement and some hooks.

I disagree. Just on beats alone. Nothing on here is on the caliber that “Hustler Muzik” was on “6’7”, “Something you forgot” etc..
We can’t just forget Wayne at one point was making GREAT music. Great verses, melodies and hooks. All he got left now is a good verse here and there
