So this is a 3 team deal? Because how are the Sixers trading back to like 5th which is the Jazz and 8th which I think is….the blazers??

So KD to Sixers

PG and 3rd pick to suns

Where does the moving down come into play? Unless I missed something

I might be crazy for saying this but Mikal needs Kolek. Kolek is a real point guard that knows how to find players sweet spots making shots

Philly trades 3 to move down a few picks. Then trades PG + newly acquired assets to the Suns for KD. The Suns need picks they’re tapped out. PG allows them to remain competitive. It can be a 3 team trade or two separate deals

while I don’t mind it I think we are underestimating how much a team does not want PG maybe

I think you’re over valuing KD. Hes going into a contract year at the age of 37. His extension might end up looking as bad if not worse. Plus picks are more valuable now than ever to get both a player of PGs caliber and assets would be a win. Unless you think there’s someone else out there that makes sense for the Booker timeline. They can’t go backward.

Oh no brother trust me I don’t think KD has as much value as maybe some others think

I wouldn’t move more than 1 first for him

I get why Philly would do it but now even that’s tricky with KD’s mounting injuries and age and Embiid’s history

Especially when I think the Sixers should move Embiid soon

Also I’m of the mind the suns should just move Booker and be proactive

I don’t think adding PG’s huge deal in addition to another I think 2 seasons of Beal is ideal..PG and Beal gonna get hurt next season and now you got 100 mil sitting out with Booker dying with Oso Ighodaro

There’s nobody they can put around him with a rookie head coach that’s going to make a real difference in booker’s prime
 
So are there even 13 international "all stars" in the league right now?

This will be bad....and won't make them play harder over a damn exhibition game....maybe the young pups will take it seriously but the old heads are gonna just go at their own pace and do what they do

How do you play Kolek and Brunson though? Neither can defend, and with Kolek out there, you have 3 players that cant defend now when even 2 was too hard to overcome.

I do think Kolek needs to play way more next season, he definitely needs a role, but not a create shots for players like Mikail role.

There was a graphic posted earlier that showed the Knicks had decent ball movement but no player movement.

I think we just need a coach that stresses player movement and the ball keeps moving until someone catches it in their sweet spot.

That someone could be KAT, OG, or Mikail. And then they either shoot or make a play. If it's defended well, around the 8 second mark you give the ball to brunson and let him do what makes him great and bail the team out.

This hopefully gets Mikail going as well as OG and everyone else. Chasing the ball will tire players too.

No reason why have the best shooting big man, and two players who are top 2 in corner 3s and don't have teams gassed as fuck in the 4th.

Add the best iso player in the game to clean up plays when the shit doesn't work and we cooking.

Wasn’t one of the scrimmages in this year’s All-Star game US vs. World? And wasn’t it trash?

The best and most competitive game that night was the old-heads vs. the young’ns. That was a good idea because not only do you have players with something to prove, you showcase some of the younger talent, which is what the NBA needs to move on from LeBron, Curry, and KD.

The obvious move for the Suns is move KD and Book this summer but they keep delaying the inevitable

They're under the belief that Booker wants to stay in Phoenix forever and to be fair everything he's said and done indicates that's true....for now

Ishiba can't admit defeat and that they made bad moves so they're going to keep doubling down and try to rest things around Booker instead of reseting things around the return they get for Booker and KD

Morey is a big game hunter. Unless they fire him before this pick is made odds are he’s looking to bring in a big name based on his history as a gm.

What you’re saying makes sense in both cases for sure. I would move both Embid and Booker but it likely wont happen any time soon. Maybe Embid gets moved a year or two from now. I think Embid/Morey are tied in at this point. The 3rd pick won’t help save his job
He has no choice but to go all in

Yeah that’s true about Morey I can see his funny ass doing a trade for KD but he shouldn’t

But yeah I don’t have Embiid getting moved until the deadline at the least

In the scenario you’re proposing I’d rather they do this for Lauri and not KD

As far as what should the suns do?
