Yeah they did.The show was based on his character.He was the main character and a big new Hollywood movie star.

He brought legitimacy to the show and then Emmett and Trig had fill in with Reggie gone.

The whole focus went from a show about a struggling chef to a bunch of other shit.

They could have just changed the actor it wouldn’t be the first time a show changed the actor and kept it moving

Jason Weaver is a trained chef in real life and from Chicago they could have had him replace the freak bull instead of that goofy Rashad character he playing

Well they didn’t go the route plus it’s hard to replace your main character and wow Jason Bieber is a certified All-Star. He wasn’t as popular as Jason Mitchell was after NWA

It’s about telling a cohesive story and that would have been the only way to save the show

Before bro got handsy the show kind of felt like Chicago

Starting season 3 it’s really been a show that could be set anywhere

I love that show

I doubt Bacari is gay I think that actor who plays Emmett’s brother is just gay IRL so he gives off that vibe .

If you saw some early trailers or the season trailer, there is a clue to what is gonna happen or not happen that I won’t spoil flat out unless somebody wants me to

I’m saying season 2 ended w Eazy E agreeing to work w the cops to take down Douda who was still living a double life as Otis Perry

Season 3 opens up w Eazy E s funeral and u have to now recalibrate the story im saying all they had to do was just change the actor and keep the original trajectory going

And the show could have been a classic
