It's funny the two players teams actually want the Pelicans don't want to as trade

Herb Jones(who is on an excellent team friendly deal) and Trey Murphy...I can see Herb being moved though

I actually don’t believe that the pelicans want to keep Herb Jones

His value is never going to be higher than it is now

Pelicans have no need for a 27 year old 3 and D player who would be extremely valuable to playoff teams

They gonna keep him just to extend him? For what ?

I wouldn’t bother with Trey Murphy

He’s the face of the franchise now

It would behoove them to trade Herb Jones this summer but the Pelicans haven't really shown a willingness to be proactive

Directionless and kicking the can down the road has been their M.O.

Yeah but they got new people in the front office now

To steal your word, it would behoove them to make a splash in the sense of distancing themselves from the Zion era because it was a terrible time overall

Gotta tear this shit down and just move forward with Murphy, Missi, and who they get in the draft

I agree...if Zion is still on this team when the season starts it'll tell everything I need to know about this new front office though

You have to move on, get what you can...might even have to be for neutral or negative value but as long as Zion he's still on this roster they're essentially being held hostage

I think the Zion thing changes this

You can't go into the season with him after this latest shit

It's past being a sunken cost at this point. Everyone wanted it to work but it just hasn't. Tear it down to the studs and start over. I'm not optimistic dumars is capable of doing it right

I was 70% sure Zion was getting traded before he was outed as a rapist

Now I’m 110% sure lol

You couple in the bad press with the health and injury history and virtually NO playoff resume and you gonna get Zion for cheap as hell
