Lol nah, I never got into comics or cartoons as a kid.

I think there should be a criteria for things like "legend" and "classic".


Just cuz an album is good, it still needs to check other boxes to be considered a classic imo.

I'll say in Madvilliany's case it influenced an slew of artists from my generation and kept the sample heavy style alive for a long time til Roc Marc and Griselda picked it up. It deserves classic status just based on that. Diplomatic Immunity is in the same boat, tho not as good a body of work as other classics and was more so a byproduct of the entire Dipset movement.
