Pacers get an elite shooter still have jarace walker in the tuck to cover obi, but Cam is 28-29 and pretty injury prone, only good for 50 games a season. Obi on the other hand is an ironman and doesn't miss alot of games. And its still kinda early to kick on Mathurin. If im the pacers I gotta take a hard look at cam's medical but I probably pull the trigger.

If im Brooklyn I take that and run.

Give me picks I can kick the can down the road on. We already have enough development players and on top of that we have like 4 first round picks this year that I’m sure they want to see get minutes at some point.

The Nets would’ve gotten picks in what year for Cam?

Maybe Mathurin is better long term, but based on what I’m seeing now Cam T is better, I don’t even know if he’ll ever hit whatever ceiling you think he has.

It's a gamble for Indiana for sure.....the good thing is he's locked in for his age 28, 29 and 30 seasons which are probably his last good years

Also since they have Ben Sheppard it makes Mathurin kind of expendable even though they're different kind of players....it prevents you from tying up so much money in redundant players

Plus the priority is resigning Myles Turner this summer

Time was up this past deadline

Mathurin makes it so you aren’t compelled to back up the brinks truck over a top 90 NBA player
