Those things have to be established by the prosecution. The prosecution then has to bring an expert to establish the mental state of Cassie. This is a court case i expect the jury will be judging on what is presented instead making up their own ideas on what might have happened.

I understand how cases work in court but I don't understand your reply though. Nobody said diff from what the prosecution or the Jury is supposed to do or how they are supposed to do it. (although Jurors sure could be indecisive or get things wrong....see the Case Anthony case)

He is on trial for sex trafficking (among other charges)...if the prosecution can prove that, then there you go. Speak to someone who has been sex trafficked before..I bet you can draw some parallels between them and Cassie.
