It's a lot of layers to your second post.......Sengun should be the hub of the offense and we should run more through him but in order for that to happen you have to have legit swing man at the 2 who can make defenses react

But we also need an offensive system, our halfcourt offense is beyond putrid

Tbh I don't think Amen or Sengun are the type where you just give them ball and let them carry yooffensively.....they can both survive on the court together but you still need that bonafied go to option who can get bucks in the clutch at all 3 levels

Funny enough I like the idea of Herro on Houston next to Amen with FVV gone

With the offense running through sengun

But idk if that situation helps in the half court

Realistically trade 2 is probably the only one Knicks will do. The other two trades just don't change the ceiling. But for trade 2, y'all likely would get one more pick.

That's by design because Leon Rose wanted these guys specifically. Any other trades would only involve second unit guys. The way contracts were structured I don't think the plan was to move from the current starters until the original deals run out.

Idk if Hart was ever meant to be a full starter but other than that, yea.

Thing is we came into this thinking Mikail was gonna ball out and Mikail came into it thinking Knicks would give him near max.

That shit ain't happening for both sides now

True Josh was supposed to be on the bench and Donte starting but clearly a pivot was made. Josh should still be on the bench but Thibs obsession with him makes that impossible.

I put it more on Leon. Cause if Josh Hart doesn't start, who does? Mitch? No way.

Last season we traded all depth for starters. Cool. Now this offseason leon needs to bring in a starting 4/5, and a good bench player.

If that happens and Josh still starts, I'm running through MSG offices looking for Thibs.

You gonna need to trade for someone and be able to pick up someone else who can create offense

I feel like you gonna give up stuff for bam when it’s not exactly addressing your biggest needs

There’s a very easy solution here to me though and it’s getting rid of Bridges and Mitchell Robinson and a pick and maybe Kolek and turning them into a decent backup C (sorry towns is just going to have to play C) and a player or two off the bench

Cam and Shep really just needs consistent game reps/minutes

If we had Herro instead of Jalen Green we'd be in the conference finals

We really went 7 games with Warriors with no 2 guard lol

In order for a a pecking order to be established we have to an actual offensive system.....we need something fall back on and get easy system when things break down

You can't fully utilize Sengun as a hub with a subpar shooting guard


Imagine the Jokic-Murray two man game with Luther Head instead of Jamal Murray



If we go the Durant route we really won't have to give up much at all if he wants come here...KD controls his destiny since he's an expiring contract......Whitmore, Fred and a couple of picks could get that done
