Lavine is a better scorer overall, stronger, a better defender and a better playmaker. I would feel more confident with lavine running an offense over Herro

This helps Wiggins out as well so so much isn’t on him to create offense

The money doesn’t matter much

Duncan is a liability at this point so his subtraction is an addition

I'm truly intrigued by what Miami does this summer....do yall completely pivot in a new direction, try to add to this group and wait on a star, do full tear down?

Lot of different way for yall to go

If I was a Heat fan though I'd be ready to move on from both Bam and Herro

I really think yall could get a very good return for Bam

Heat fans are sooo emotionally invested they want to keep bam and Herro still and try to turn everyone else into someone else and keep Mitchell

There’s some that are willing to trade Herro as well as they are so into bam but bam would obviously yield more of a return

Also speaking of Mitchell if he gets offered anything more than $12 mil im not matching that

there’s no world where keeping bam and T is the better scenario though

I’m okay with keeping Tyler over bam because of his age and bam would yield more

Send bam to the spursssss

I know you had mentioned that Spurs deal before

I think you said Sochan, Castle, Barnes and picks.....depending on the draft capital I would absolutely do that if I was San Antonio and I think that would be a good look for Miami, Castle would be a great fit

Tyler Herro is such a polarizing player....I think he should've been discussed more for most improved player tbh but I also don't know where he fits on a really good team.....like can he be the 1st or second best player? If not he's grossly overpaid.....if he was at least a better playmaker and creator for others I'd feel so much better about him

I would do that spurs trade so fucking fast man even if it gave us 1 pick back

said that same trade on Heat Reddit and some weak ass fan gonna tell me why would the spurs trade a guy who just won rookie of the year for bam who is way more expensive? Lmao

I lost it

I hate that fucking place

As far as Herro he’s a great 3rd option on good team and 2nd option on a mid team

He’s not overpaid now because he’s making Immanuel Quickley money but with his extension if it’s over $38 a year then he’s overpaid slightly

But he was an allstar so the price has to go up

I usually think of Orlando as a place for Tyler

what you thinking big dog?

You trying to trade Whitmore for Haywood Highsmith?

-Figure out the Bari/Tari extensions
-Renegotiate with Fred on a team friendly deal
-Bring back Steven Adams
-Trade Jalen Green but this might need to happen at the deadline
-Don't force a big swing....addressing needs with smaller moves can still help with growth and development (more shooting/spacing and more creation)
-Kind of goes with the previous point but just add some quality depth, I'm tired of looking down the bench and seeing Landale, Jeff Green, Aaron Holiday and Jae'Sean Tate...Tate and Holiday had moments but they can be upgraded
-Summer league for Whitmore and Sheppard
-Find an offensive coordinator....Basically what the Clippers did with JVG but instead of defensive mind we need offensive minded

Tari, Amen, and Sengun need to come back stronger physically and with jumpers. Jalen it's time I suppose for that trade. Pg needs to be younger and upgraded asap. 2nd unit time to consolidate and decide who stays. Kids like Cam might as well be sent in a package deal too .

Upgrading the backcourt is a must....we can survive with Fred starting if we have a competent shooting guard but when Fred becomes your best perimeter player that's a huge problem

Might be a bad take but you need to figure out if you are building the team around sengun or Amen

Your roster moves as soon as the summer depend on it

And figure out if you wanna run the offense through sengun or if it’s guard oriented

@Al G. Rhythm

What's the best realistic trade package you can see for Bam from the Knicks? Forget that you rather the Spurs deal. Say it's just the Knicks y'all can trade Bam too. And keep the shit realistic with what both team might agree too.

Dead @ making cam whitmore do summer league in his 3rd season

Homie gonna average 28 lol

If you aren't in the rotation you aren't too good for summer league imo

Cam really just needs to work on his awareness and IQ....that's why he can't PT, Udoka thinks he's an idiot

It's a lot of layers to your second post.......Sengun should be the hub of the offense and we should run more through him but in order for that to happen you have to have legit swing man at the 2 who can make defenses react

But we also need an offensive system, our halfcourt offense is beyond putrid

Tbh I don't think Amen or Sengun are the type where you just give them ball and let them carry yooffensively.....they can both survive on the court together but you still need that bonafied go to option who can get bucks in the clutch at all 3 levels

To make the money work I think it would have to be something like Bridges, Hart, Mitch and picks

Heat would probably ask for OG instead of Bridges but that might let you keep Hart

My bad I know you didn't ask me I just so happened to be looking at team payrolls this morning lol

I appreciate that fam. I didn't look at payroll closely so I couldn't really say, but that's not a bad trade for either side, mostly cause Bridges' contract is expiring. And Hart only under contract for 2 more seasons not counting this one.

I wouldn't do the trade if it meant losing OG cause switching OG for Bam doesn't move the needle for the Knicks. Our ceiling stays the same.

But in a world where the Heat don't get their first and second choice when trading Bam, this isnt a bad trade for either side imo.

Sure give me a few
2 reasons why this was hard

Knicks being an apron team and the salaries of your team outside of your main players being the way they are

it’s probably best as a 3 team deal but that’s too much brainpower for me

(Probably should’ve added another pick to this)

I don’t like the Knicks as a trade partner lol

To @Al G. Rhythm point yea the pecking order needs to be firmly established. Because of the playmaking Segun is probably the better option but, that's also banking on if he can take his game to another level. Amen really took a step in the playoffs so I'd say who ever improves the most this offseason. Jabari is in a weird spot too. Do yall just go in on the Durant trade and ship some players out?
