Why is the only movie that I can think of where the narrative is focused on how small the dip between weeks is instead of how much money it continues to make?

It must be certain accounts that do this cause I just checked the last update in the accountant thread that infamous posted and that tweet mentioned nothing about a dip. Just mentioned how much it made

Its not strange as it’s customary for box office stats because it’s usually

Opening weekend

Dip for the weekdays

Then numbers rise the following weekend but will be less than opening weekend

That trend usually continues until the movie is out of theaters

The dip is a customary metric

If you paid attention to the box office stuff infamous posts over the years instead of crying you would know this 😌

It had a normal 50-60% dip lol which is the usual for a movie. Sinners dipping 5% in its 2nd weekend and then 23% in its 3rd is a good thing. Movies don't do this at all

I'm not saying it's not understandable

I understand the points that are being made

What I'm saying is I just have never noticed these tweets prior to this movie when it's typically just been about how much the movie continues to make or bomb from week to week

Just got back from seeing it

Thought it was cool, very ambitious, very interesting

The scene when he smashed Annie had me ready to walk out cause I initially thought that character was they mama

And I didn’t understand how all the vampires at the end just rushed in with no invite

Ah I probably missed it

And I didn’t like MBJ doing this accent, it sounded off the whole time and was distracting. One line he said sounded Chinese.
