Hero gotta be on there

I gotta watch it again. It's one of the few Jet Li joints I have on DVD. The rest are on VHS (I also have Hero on VHS, Chinese with English subs)

I don't remember it hittin' like Fearless and some of his other joints. It's been yeeears since I've watched it.

Agree with what most posted.

One of my hidden gems. Came out in 98 and the fighting cgi and story was top notch. One of my favorites

Was basically live action anime how it was supposed to be done almost 30 years ago..

Why I get annoyed sometimes with live adaptations of anime since.. like look at what this studio was able to do!

Another hidden gem that was dope as fuck. Based on true story too. He was a baaaaaaasd man. Nigga in real life could break a bulls horn clean break with one strike. Or kill it with one punch as well. Documented..

He'd probably beat a gorilla dolo haha 🤣

Nigga was not one to be fucked with but dope ass film!

AI Overview

Mas Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin Karate, was known for his demonstrations of strength and technique, including fighting against bulls. He purportedly fought 52 bulls, cutting off the horns of 49 with a knife-hand strike and killing three with a single blow, earning him the nickname "Godhand". These fights were a part of his training and demonstrations of his martial arts prowess in the 1950s.
