Haven’t seen it yet

Is there a reason for Hispanics to be in this movie? I’m hearing they mad

Highly recommend you see it.
As for Hispanics being mad, ehhhh idk why. It's a 1930 set piece in the deep South. Klan and lynching is still active.
Maybe their jealous Asian and Native Americans were represented.
They'll be fine just have John Leguizamo direct his own horror set piece.

I asked some family if they planned on seeing it.. some are religious and was like nah I aint tryna see all that demonic witchcraft mess. They aint even know what the movie was about they just heard on facebook/social media it wasnt a christian movie or some shit. *sighs*

My biggest issue was them being immediate evil slave vampires to being free will vampires with no explanation other than stack promises smoke he'd leave Sammy alone...

Also, we doing have to be invited in, allergies to garlic, silver, and wooden stakes..... But China girl crucifix Carry's no weight?

It's just their vampire rules were all over the place... And it stood out to me in an otherwise perfect story.
Ain’t the first movie to keep the rules of vampire lore while skirting the religious shit.

Gotta remember these vampires predate Christianity. Which is why Annie called them Haints.

Ancient Evil that laughs in the face of God ain’t new.

Especially watching how Sammie renounced his faith in the end. Sammie didn’t need the white mans religion, only his own willpower.

Stop looking at this movie thru the white mans way of story telling.

Vampires ain’t even the typical thing in Irish Folklore either.

Meh
He could've just stfu

He supported the movie and understood some things are a misconception and some were true does he think no one else knows that?!

Christianity was in Africa long ago and it also was pushed on slaves.

Tf is the issue

They got free will because they no longer were connected to Remmick psychic charm abilities.

Just cause the running theory is “they were a hive mind” don’t mean it’s right.

Remmick had the ability to charm even his own kind which seems to be more logical given how things worked out.

Remember dude was at 1300 years old.

Which also means he ate a stronger Haint than him.

Hispanics are mad or one particular goof who made a fool of himself? I have not seen this narrative in real life. My theater was packed and no one left wondering why there weren't Cubans or Colombians in 1930s Mississippi lol
Ppl be making anything they see a thing my theatre was filled with spanish and black folk

Same.

I live in San Antonio Texas and the theater I was in was majority Hispanic and they loved it. Even at my job all the Hispanic (Mexican) folks who saw it, loved it and were telling everyone to watch the movie. LOL.
