I gotta asked y'all a question. With Trump beefing with other countries (manly China) with high tariffs. At some point it will affect the cost of sneakers. With that being said are y'all going to keep buying every sneaker you want, or just buy the ones you want the most, or slowly chill on buying new stuff?

I've been on a sneaker freeze for a min now

I want to be more... Hmmm... Humble isn't the word but I have to force myself to wear all these shoes. Given a few away and about to give some more away

Gonna try and streamline my life at this stage of it
 
I only buy shoes I loved in my youth and I have almost all of those now. The only ones I might get this year are the Bugs Bunny 8’s. Those were the first J’s I ever had. Other than that, I’m good sticking with nice shoes on the lower end of the price spectrum.

Yeah same here, I havnt bought sneakers for ages either... I tend to find myself wearing the same few sneakers from my collection too...
 
I’ve been slowed down, I might buy a pair here and there if its a release that I want. I got so many unworn pair from years of collecting that I’ve been focusing on wearing before buying more.

It doesn’t help that I’m generally working out of state so when I pack its way easier to just grab the subtle goes with most outfits.. plain white pair of shoes, then maybe a black/white pair etc to limit the amount of shoes I’m bringing. Its hard to pack particular color-ways that I may only have 2-3 outfits to go with it.
 
I cut grass in my Jubilee’s. I do yard work around the house in my Breds. Saw some YouTube videos on people restoring their J’s and……….I’m going to do that shit now.

My 12s are loose at the bottom. My Spike Lee 4s are yellowing at the bottom.

I’m not really motivated to get anymore because those are my favorite 3.

All my busted shoes use to ultimately be downgraded to yard work or dirty work shoes. It wasn’t until a few years ago shoe restorers started popping up left and right and with the questionable quality and price increases on new releases, it made sense just to send then off and have the cracked paint removed and repainted l. I have a few pairs I eventually wanna send off instead just waiting and buying rereleases.

" I do yard work around the house in my Breds" This broke my heart lol. Cause I can't seem to get my hands on that colorway. I've been trying since 96 and I refuse to pay resale
