Whenever I heard people make critiques about Floyd Mayweather, saying that he waited for Manny Pacquiao to get older to fight him, even though he was older than Manny Pacquiao? That let me know how people perceive black men in general. The logic being black men athletically are so gifted that people don’t respect our humanity as people, they see us as being better than them
The logic kind of applies here. People see a young black kid and they say to themselves if he has a knife it doesn’t excuse the fact that he was approached by two big white dudes and they tried to jump him or at least physically impose themselves on him. They’re just gonna see it as him having malicious intent cuz he’s this dangerous nigger yet when they have the desire to walk around with guns, their first argument, is you can’t take away our guns because they don’t want you to remove the opportunity to defend themselves. So it is what it is.
