Of course, we all know how much comic book movies with no straight male heroes crush the Box Office. Just look at The Marvels. Sarcasm aside, I liked that movie by the way, but you don't do any yourself any favors when you alienate your primary audience.

Edit: I looked back and I actually liked Marvels lol my complaint was the villain sucked

The Marvels was a fun movie to me and the after credits scene was the most underrated scenes of the whole MCU.

That said, Maga and niggas not gonna support that Champions shit. I hope they know that and will expect shit rotten tomatoes views and support. I do wonder if it's intentional to have mostly women in the group. That's one thing I didn't understand through the years when they were building up the next crop of heroes.

Looking at the comics, the champions roster has a mixture of women and men so maybe they holding back surprises, but like I mentioned if the women empowerment shit isn't intentional then it's tone deaf.

4 and 5 might be interchangeable for me as well. I just remember liking some things more in Marvels

I watched both over the weekend our of sheer boredom. The fact that The Marvels take place at the very end of Ms Marvel and the way they have her suddenly able to fight like she did still sticks out and I noticed that Monica was really kind of an asshole throughout the flick. I can deal with Quantumania better.
