How about the spurs just use Harrison Barnes’ expiring and keldon johnson to trade for cam johnson?

Now in this hypothetical you still have the 3rd pick and Vassell

I kinda agree with @Al G. Rhythm take

If it’s just a pick swap and Devin I know they would jump on that though.

Trey is definitely the better player and fits a need though.

Trey signed his extension...very similar deal to Vassells except Vasell is declining

It's a tough decision.....I agree with what they said on the pod that it kind or comes down to how do you feel about Devin Vassell

Like if I'm the the Spurs I would definitely trade the 3rd pick for Trey Murphy but if your high on Vassell that might be a lot


If I'm New Orleans I'm not doing 3 for Murphy but if you like Vasell enough and think he moves the needle enough than you might do it


I do expect one or both of Keldon/Barnes to get moved this season
 
Idk where KD goes in the offseason

As a Heat fan it doesn’t make much sense to take him at this point

Might really just be Rockets or Wolves

Whatever happens he'll have all the leverage

If he wants to come to Houston we can absolutely low ball them and not give up everything

Give them Cam Whitmore, a pick back and tell them take it or leave it

lol here we go…

And idk it wasn’t really about getting a superstar back but really putting KD around players that make him actually enjoy playing basketball at a certain level

Russ ultimately didn’t do that for him so he left
