I wish people would stop with the "I'm the first Black person to..." I understand why they are proud, but it kinda gives of the impression that they were the first black person to deserve that honor rather than being the first black person that was allowed to be honored that way.

Let's be real, there no "first black person to..." in 2025 that should be the "first black person to..."

Damn, I always thought the riots were just a reaction to the Rodney King verdict. I don't remember this incident. Now it makes more sense as to why they were attacking those Korean establishments.
