He was a politician on the show and I believe some lawyer before that.

My only worry is it devolves into Twitter speak 101 where everyone just uses catch phrases all the time to sound as "Black" as possible. Part of what makes college itself interesting is the regionalism amongst the students and those differences coming up

I mean it's not uncommon for some to come back and teach after a political/legal career. A few of my professors were former (or slightly practicing) attorneys.

I can't even put in words on how legendary this show is. A Different World inspired so many to go to a HBCU. I know the sequel won't be a masterpiece as the original but nonetheless, I hope its a great show

Why couldn’t their daughter be a professor on the show lol. Unless it’s not their only child? I get what they trying to do tho..
