Crazy fact, a uncle of mines told me before he took the Jackson State Job, Deion contacted Southern U 1st and SU turned him down because he wanted 30% of the gate and he didn't want to schedule Power 5 teams. SU had 3 already on their schedule and refuse to break the contract clause to not play them.
SU turned him down and he moved on to Jackson State with the same package deal.
