I feel like this Waltz character is going to get take the fall not for the colossal fuckup but it's going to be spun (although most likely true) that he is a leaker and that's why he had the number on his phone in the first place. They're probably going to paint him as some kind of "deep state" democrat plant even though all those motherfuckers are leakers.
 
One thing I will say, the timing of the released texts were coordinated well with the timing of these people testifying on Capitol Hill. Somebody coordinated that and it was a good move.

Yeah, I don't know how it works legally but all those motherfuckers basically declassified the texts under oath in front of congress. With all that perjury they were doing you would think they would have been a little smarter about declaring the evidence against them isn't classified information.

Comical stupidity had them between a rock and a hard place.l

But don’t they have encrypted, federally issued devices? Why do you even need to use 3rd party apps to have discussions?

Mind you my knowledge is mainly from TV, most recently Lioness. They were always disclosing whether they were on a personal unencrypted device or encrypted federal device. And war plans were always discussed in a SCIF.
