Popular Stores You've Never Been To?

Trader Joe’s can only work if you also have a 2nd stop lined up to get your real groceries

It’s a giant novelty shop

We got one down the way in Ann Arbor. Last year when my middle daughter came out for a visit, she insisted we go there so she could show us how great it is... She forgot we went to one in Vegas a few times and outside of the wine selection, the wife and I were absolutely unimpressed.

So, while we were there she found like 4 "novelty" items to buy and was happy, one of which still takes up space in my cabinet, some kind of weird purple yam mochi pancake mix she likes that still hasn't expired. Like, this ain't shit that "normal" people eat on a regular basis, so it's definitely a novelty item.

Never been inside a Trader Joe until my job landed me In California. Thought it was some secret society grocery bs… turns out nothing impressive, unless you go in there to buy some specialty item you’ll definitely be doing normal grocery shopping elsewhere.

Same.. In n out burger.. which is basically just jack in the box/five guys lol nothing overly impressive worth the ridiculous line.

Never been in an so called high end designer store.. mostly cause I never seen the appeal of that overpriced bs or was ever in position to just throw away all that money just to appear that i’m balling and trying to fit in with the fancy people. A pair of Levis are still alright with by me.

Edit: now that I think about it I can’t remember what store it was exactly but I remember overpriced distressed pants and the insane price tag on them. I remember the sales Woman coming over to be asking me if I needed any help and I said something to the effect of do people really buy this shit. I mean I have several pairs of my worn out Wranglers that got holes in knees, blown out crotch area and got all the dirt/paint/grit/faded clothes and are distressed that Ill sell at a fraction of the cost. A shopping customers overheard me and she asked me to leave.

My man.

I've been in a lot of designer shops and nothing I've ever seen in them compels me to spend all that money on their clothes.
