It was Democrats paying for catering to a fraction of the population for the prior 10 years AND Trump playing his base’s greatest hits that got us here. Democrats gave him the ammunition and he had no shame in loading the clip and letting off.

True Kamala was miles better than Trump, but people wanted to vote on things that didn’t matter. And now we are where we are.

And Democrats have done themselves no favors since by having these sing-a-longs, expletive filled rage rallies, and fighting game promos.

They need to get their shit together and get some strong national leadership and messaging if they want to win again. Their policies are far superior to Trump’s, but they not connecting with the largely uninformed populace.

Nobody wants to hear about gays, nothing about women's rights, nothing about immigration, nothing about the economy, when they had it, it was fucked up

Democrats can pivot, especially now. Trump is not as liked now that he’s actually doing everything he said he’d do. Fed firings (especially vets), fed payment freezes, proposed Medicaid cuts, tariffs, etc. are not popular at all.

This gives democrats an opportunity to speak to those things and largely ignore the old policies regarding LGBTQ, immigration, etc.

Politics is a cyclical pendulum. It will swing back. Only question is how quickly and how extreme. Look at how different the Republican Party is today than it was pre-Trump as evidence.
