I guess him needing to either switch his mindset about how he does music can be seen as that. But that's just to get him more fans and I don't think he's pressed by that.

Around his time with Death Row he was recording like a mad man. His quality control with end rhyme dropped due to his output. His overall content was stellar. So in short he used enemies, Hennessy & envy me in a few too many verses. Can't win 'em all I guess.

Kind of, I wouldnt say quality control because everything was still fire...

I would say this only happened because he was recording and writing so many songs, he moved verses around before or after recording that later ended up on other songs, see 'Changes' and 'I Wonder If Heaven Gotta Ghetto' for example...
