Not dismissing their actions, but what I am saying, you know buddy don't take care of his kids, said he didn't want any kids, 1. why have sex with buddy, and 2, why you let buddy go raw.

Apparently he's a no good dude when it comes to having kids and him not taking care to them, why bring another child into this world?
It's called being irresponsible.

They are both irresponsible.

They had irresponsible sex.

They did not take into consideration what would come from them having unprotected sex so they share that responsibility.

Dude a piece of shit for denying his child.
She's robbing her child of the experience of having two loving and contributing parents.

They were tryna get a nut and created a child who will suffer bcuz of it.

Lots of mental gymnastics going on in here. This one is checkers. It ain’t chess.

It really boils down to ‘is it ok to abandon your children?’. We can dress it up. We can talk around it. We can try to deflect. Etc.

But at the end of the day, you either think it’s ok to abandon children that you’re capable of taking care of…or you don’t think it’s ok.

My morality is mine so what I think is ok and not ok is my business; at least that's what modern society says. I'd much rather him be in this child's life. I think it's trash that he's not.

Women are free to opt out of motherhood, men should be given the same option. He apparently made it clear long before this child was born that he did not want to raise a child with this woman. She made the decision to carry it to term. So long as he pays his court-mandated child support, I can't see myself jumping
up and down over this.

This is the world we live in. Can't put that genie back in the bottle. Since we all sex-positive now and nothing is serious, why are we tripping now that we are at it's logical conclusion?

He just better stand on business.

Ain't shit more pathetic then waiting till you get old and sick and expect people who went their entire lives mentally forcing themselves to not think about or look for you in their life to all of sudden try to find compassion for you when you're on your death bed.

Or if that kid ends up being great.... Don't express any kinda pride or attach yourself to them in any way. I hate seeing celebs make it big, then here come this parent that have no fucks and the child... Tryna be in the adults life.

This right here:

Women are free to opt out of motherhood, men should be given the same option.

Men do have that option and they take it all the time. It's called not showing up. Getting a vasectomy. Giving up your parents rights legally. Or...not nutting in every chick you fuck. That's by far the easiest way

Ant man said he didn't want the child, you had it.. shorty, you gotta deal wit it.

You knew what kind of nigga you was dealing with before you let him go raw. Should have made the nigga "wait" put on a condom or put yourself on Birth Control or took a morning after pill

You didn't do neither of those 4 options before you missed your 1st period. Oh yea, you knew what you were doing, you wanted this outcry

All this starts before the nigga puts himself inside of a woman.

I'm from that old game, I can hear Big Mama and her croonies saying that now on the porch she called that being "fast"

You took yo fast ass out there and got knocked up, now you gotta deal wit it, or some shit like "a toilet gotta sit on its own bottom"

I'm sure I fucked that saying up, but yea that old ass saying that they would say

When I said free, I was alluding to the stigma. If there should be no stigma for abortion because a woman does not wish to be a mother, there should be no stigma for a man deciding he doesn't want to be a father (at least in a case where the man gives the woman a clear heads up and she chooses to push forward with the pregnancy anyway). Also, who are you to critique his sexual habits? It's his body.

This is where sex positivity was always going to lead 🤷‍♂️. If we cool with fucking about, we cool with the consequences.

The pull out method is by no means reliable birth control. But it works for me... And if you ain't at least pulling out.... The argument is trash. You can't shoot up the club, then don't want to deal with the outcome

There is a stigma for abortion though. So much so that many want it to, are pushing for, and have made it illegal in some places. And his sexual habits affect more than just him and he's public about his child he does claim as part of his public image. So the ones he's abandoning are part of that public image too.

Sex positivity was never about abandoning kids without consequence. That's a hell of a leap off a cliff to miss the point if I ever seen one
