The MJ Disrespect continues: Rolling Stone states that Lady in my Life is the worst song on Thriller

You know that they were like "this will really piss people off"

Not surprising when I saw the writer of the article

... Stop it.

Thriller is FLAWLESS front to back, top down, whatever. You basically start a countdown on your own fucking credibility trying to talk about it with less than praise.

It's an artist somewhere right now getting a train ran on him or her because someone promised they'd sell a fraction of Mike Jack's biggest FLOP. Rolling Stone has no credibility when discussing melanated artists.

Rolling Stone disrespect and have been trying to replace Michael Jackson as the King of Pop with Justin Timberlake and Harry Styles

The real song is the Girl is Mine and if the man from the Beatles wasn't on it. It would be a forgettable track.

In fact the only good thing that came from that song was him buying the Beatles catalogue

Sorry, but I’m not gonna ask a crew or white boys what they think about a song that’s talking about a black man loving a black woman at least that’s what the song implies.

Unrelated but this is stupid 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I love a good sample chop. Took me a while to figure out it was Billie Jean.

Since we're here, what's y'all take on the Invincible album? I loved it when it came out. It wasn't Thriller by any means, but it had some joints on it.

I'm gonna fuck around and post the whole album. A lot more songs I fucked with than I remembered.

Invincible was flames but the destruction of his reputation was already in full fledged so it ain’t hit as hard

Yeah, I was there for that. IIRC he was lowkey til the album came out so ppl mostly forgot about the 93 allegations. Then the interview, the Blanket shit and the 2nd allegations happened and it was a wrap. I think it was more so a domino effect of current events plus Sony sandbagging him than his issues in the 90s. Invincible still did numbers (Rock My World was EVERYWHERE), but the press afterwards was negative.

Break of Dawn and Heaven Can Wait are fire.

I get the Beyonce comparisons when it comes to impact and showmanship, but I don't really see how anyone can say that Beyonce makes music as good as MJ.
