NBA Ratings Up This Season!

People complain too fucking much about the NBA. Everybody’s take on what’s wrong with the league is a mix of their own whiny ass demands and excuses.

Niggas talking about ratings like that has ever had an impact on you watching the fucking game.

Since the TV contracts depend on them, which drive the salary cap, which drives…..contracts.
 
I tend to think that the NBA will be fine, and maybe better than fine.

The key is more white players, especially white American players.

The league is perceived as too black.

The 3 point shooting probably hurts with current NBA viewers, but there are many non-viewers who are sports fans who could become interested again.

This is like 90% of it. The NBA used to be the most exciting game to watch on TV. Now it's a boring ass 3pt contest. No one wants to watch 48 mins of players throwing up 20 foot shots and putting in no effort on defense.

I get what you're saying. I'm mostly in the "don't watch" camp. I accept that the game really ain't for me anymore. The problem is that it seems to not be for a lot of other people too, and many of those people are too committed to the sport to just walk away from it. They are going to keep complaining because they hope that things will change.
