Yea I can see the wings absorbing impact and all that protecting Sam, but his body still has to support the wings. Seems like his body should be tearing and breaking in that kind of fight. Kind of picturing it like a car crash. The car takes all the physical damage but your body inside the car can still get tossed around and fucked up.

Vibranium is said to absorb and nullify all kinetic energy it receives. The MCU has been extremely inconsistent when it comes to that aspect of it but they show it working from time to time. Think about BP's first appearance in the MCU. Dude was getting lit up from an FN M240 shooting 7.62x51mm NATO rounds and didn't so much as budge or flinch because the suit was doing what it was supposed to do: absorb and nullify kinetic energy.

Sam's body should be fine if the writers factor in that vibranium is supposed to absorb everything, thus taking the load off the rest of his body because none of the strain from an impact, even a Hulk's blow, would be transferred to his body.

Yea I'm pretty sure it's just the wings that are vibranium

Yeah well this movie shouldn't have hitched an important plot point on The Eternals. I don't know fuck all about that flick cuz I had no desire to see it and I'm sure the majority of movie goers are in the same boat

Just based on the context clues I assumed the celestial whatever it was called was from The Marvels or Eternals, neither of which I saw

I thought it was odd to finally bring it up after ignoring it for so long

Then they retconned some shit on the low cause his suit is supposed to be made of Vibranium too. That’s how it was introduced on the show
Falcons suit is vibranium they followed the comics. He's had a vibranium suit for years it's just not as tech heavy as Panthers suit and if I remember correctly lower grade vibranium.

He also had a chance to get the super soldier serum but he turned it down.

This movie was actually pretty damn good to me. Thought it was going to be some fuck shit because of the reviews but it was good. They could've made some tweaks to it and not show Red Hulk in the commercials. I would've showed The Leader in the commercials and trailers then let the fans get the surprise in the theater.

Also the actress who played Sabra looked like hobbit to me every time they showed her I laughed.

I understand them having to reveal Red Hulk in the trailers to sell to the casual viewer. Building the marketing around the Leader would not have fared well for Marvel imo
You're right because Leader isn't really a needle mover but with that said. Showing a Hulk or a Hulk based character and him only being in the movie would have people mad.

I'm actually like the movie so I'm cool either way and they pulled some parts of the Red Hulk comic of Ross taking over DC and destroying the White House which was cool. This could've easily been a Hulk movie with the exact same storyline just replacing Sam with Banner. Still a good movie.

Sidewinder wasn't needed in this movie they actually could've ran with that storyline using the Serpent Society as the bad guys. Especially since it's so many of them that would've been great to see and they're Cap villains either way I fucked with the movie
