He pretty much did that last year. Granted he was hurt.

It’s funny tho cuz everyone kept saying he’s a project QB yet he started week 1 last season & he looked very promising those four games. Makes me wonder how things would of went had he not got hurt.

NFL in general needs to stop throwing unproven and rookie QBs out there/ drafting them so high. Chance of getting a JD5 or Stroud is really low. If you don't check EVERY box while you were in college, no way in hell am I starting you.

The days of having rookies sit behind a vet and learn are long gone. These owners want instant success now. Which sucks for rookies. B/c they're essentially throwing them in the deep end of the pool, and expecting them to swim. And lot of these teams don't even have the pieces in place for the qb to succeed (ie. Panthers).

No o-line? Who cares...go win us games. No receivers? Who cares...go win us games. HC incompetent? Who cares...go win us games. So in that sense I get it. I think had Richardson had a good qb vet by his side to kinda school him about team/NFL expectations, I think that game would've turned out different.
