Had this happen way back when I drove from Detroit to Dallas with my grandparents and younger sister. I drove from Indiana all the way to Dallas. Hit torrential rain in either Missouri or Oklahoma at like 2am and I noticed two cars riding with me. The three of us took turns being up front and stayed together for 3-4 hours through that rain storm until they broke off at I-40. Both cars gave a beep on the horn as they got on the exit ramp.
