Drew McIntyre is not backstage at Raw and we are told is not scheduled to be there at tonight's event in Portland, Oregon.
We are told it is a creative choice made by the company and not something related to an injury or anything similar
It's a weird deal as some expected McIntyre would miss last week's Raw in order to attend the Hollywood premiere of his first film The Killer's Game, but that didn't happen. PWInsiderElite.com is told there was talk last week that perhaps McIntyre could go to the premiere and then fly up to Raw in Calgary, but that didn't happen. We are told that the company required him to be at Raw for his live segment in the ring with Adam Pearce, setting up his Hell In A Cell bout on 10/5 against CM Punk.
This week, Punk will comment on the HIAC match on Raw, but McIntyre won't be there.
