How is a movie about a man that died in his 30’s gon work being played buy a man that is 50+?

The title had me thinking of something completely different. The Rock has some acting range; both Pain & Gain and Southland Tales showed some decent range.

He's always playing some hulked out guy lol

I don't recall which movie he went out all with the weightlifting and/or steroids but he didn't look like this back when he was doing Walking Tall and The Rundown

Yes he has consistently bulked up since starting his acting career. I'm not sure why either. No other wrestler turned actor has tranformed the way Rock has.
