Smooth Criminal is still "my" personal favorite song from Mike. Probably the video has alot to do with also.

Quincey's own album 'The Dude' the year before 'Thriller' was basically the precursor to 'Thriller'...

Without 'The Dude' you may not get the 'Thriller' we got today... Quincey bought in and tried new things on the record that he later used on 'Thriller', like the mash up of genres (disco, funk, electro, r&b, even rap)...
