Agreed. The 1st half of his discography >>> the 2nd half of it.
I think Blueprint 3 was a decent album and better than Blueprint 2 but neither one of them topped Blueprint.

444 was good. It wasn't woke, it was grown lol
There are other rappers who did the "grown man rap" before and did it better. But Jay-Z gets all the recognition the album is okay but he's not a good storyteller that's why he stays in his lane.
So Jay getting recognized for doing a grown rap album takes away from the others doing it?

Kings Disease series is like the gold standard for grown rap imo…but that dont take away from 4:44 being a great grown man album as well
