I'm not even going to get into this because like I said Spurs are not on our radar. The rivalry with Chelsea has more meaning.
An hour ago it was "you should want the British team to win." Now it's the opposite lol.

For the record I'm not out here trying to discredit on undervalue the opinion of Yank/Canuck based football fans,(technically I am one) but if you are cool with Man City over Utd, Everton over Liverpool, Spurs over Gooners... Basically, you wouldn't mind if your main rival won the Champions League and your team didn't, even hypothetically.

I see where @Northside7 is coming from. Leeds and QPR are supposed to be one of Chelsea's main rivals, but they have not done shit in awhile, so we barely think about them.
Same goes for Spurs who although competitive lately, have not really backed that with hardware. It would make sense for an Arsenal fan to gun after the real kings of London (Chelsea) instead of perennial underachievers (Spurs).

Epic battle between nistrlrooy and Henry. What’s your take on Roy Mackaay? You rate him? At one point i thought he was holland #1 striker.
Yeah Makaay was lethal especially during them Deportivo and Bayern Days.
I remember getting Championship Manager on PC back in 1999 and his stats was ridiculous - hated playing against him because the text would say something like "now Makaay is on the ball..........he shoots........" (cue Flashing text) "GOOOOAAAAALLLLLL"

Never had a fair chance in the national team due to heavy competition - we had Hasselbaink, Bergkamp, Kluivert, Van Nistelrooy, Van Hooijdonk etc - because he was considered to be not suitable for the 'hollandse school' type of football we played...

Bro ask Chelsea fans right now what London club would they consider there main rival, where the fans are up for it the most, it's facking SPURS, west ham it's Facking SPURS.
Only shit a can truly compare it to is Liverpool and Everton. Yes, Man Utd vs Liverpool is the bigger game derby spectacle as far as the rest of the world is concerned, but for a Liverpool fan living in Liverpool walking about seeing Everton fans day in day out, no matter how crap the team is, you do not want Everton to win shit, point blank period.
