Once they saw how Jodeci dominated urban airplay. They used that formula on themselves and their next album had a more mature sound and they went urban enough not to scare away white audience's.

Jodeci produced and write their own songs. B2M had to find different producers and songwriters just to keep up.

Why would the group whose 1st album went 9x platinum with 2 #1's and 2 more top 10 r & b singles try to copy a group that did 3x less than they did?

Also Down On Bended Knee and I'll Make Love to You didn't sound like Jodeci at all.
