Currently taxpayers are paying for the SSI that Boomers paid into for decades bc the government uses SS to fund other programs like SNAP and TANF. Essentially robbing Paul to pay Peter but if the workforce decreases due to a lack of young workers to replace the previous generation, there will be no money left for the next generation. Causing a deficit in SSI
