Yes and no, some areas have a southern accent but it ain’t country..

What’s always been wild to me is stereotypically you’d think that those would be the places where black and white people wouldn’t get along. But I think places like that, redtop, Ravenel, Megget, Hollywood, Edisto..

They get along better there than we do in the cities. Except for North Charleston, North Charleston whites are ghetto, so we get along better than Downtown whites get along with black folks from the Eastside. But they got their own dynamic.

They just leave it other alone…
