Amazing the crabs in a barrel action people tryna do with Johnathan Major. The amount of negative press I see coming from black outlets is crazy. He legitimately ain’t even doing nothing to illicit it. Shit seems like some pay the piper extortion type shit.

That and I’m seeing other places where his major selling point as an actor is his possible appeal to women, black women specifically. With a narrative that his speaking voice makes him unattractive, it sounds gay, he has a birracial child.

Too me it’s obvious negative narratives trying to gain traction to lessen his appeal to the black audience. Which at this point in his career trying to take off, is the audience that has to have his back initially. Which is why it’s so strange to only see these narratives present in black media.

It wouldn’t make sense for studios to put this much money into him and kill the relationship to his core audience. It seems more like someone wants him to do something he’s not willing to do and this is a “let me show you what we are capable of” type thing.

To his credit, he seems to be ignoring
 
I know we live in a Western country and heavily influenced by Christianity and a lil bit of Judaism. I wonder if we lived in a world where the Abrahamic faiths wernt as big how would our conflicts be? I don’t think it would be less conflict or anything’s bf but I wonder how the world would look.
