He has put them on his back. It’s sad that Cousins got injured because they were really starting to figure things out. Alvin Gentry was really getting his rotations straight.

Next season is going to be interesting with New Orleans because Cousins, Rondo (I believe) and Mirotic are free agents. Are they going to try and keep all these guys?

Mirotic is on for another year. Yes i see them keeping them all. They will move Ajinca 5 mil contract over the summer. So that may free up some cash.

AD putting up numbers because Cousin is in his ear telling him this is what superstars do. He said Cousins and Rondo has been pushing him to step up. That is an understatement.

What makes you think he won't leave besides wishful thinking.

i think you're the one with the wishful thinking brah

ya'll are tanking, and will be doing so for the foreseeable future. What assets/pieces do you think Chicago will have in two years that would be more attractive than NOLA?

Chi CANT offer him the money.

Chi will still have a ton of younger players that will still require AD to carry the bulk of the load.

Now if you are banking on Chicago being in the East...thats maybe a point, but that could soon change in the next couple of years anyway

In recent memory, the most successful player to play in their hometown is Lebron. That shit dont just happen every year. He was drafted by the city where he grew up. Chicago had D.Rose and when he started to get the injury bug, ya'll (the city as a whole) turned their back on him.

IDK man, sounds like Chicago is a very appealing place for a dude now being considered for MVP.

Lavine, Dunn, Portis, Valentine, Markkanen and whoever our lottery picks are>>>anything the Pels will have when that time comes. You not even certain Cousins will be back

As much as I hate to say it, Chicago's core and picks this year in a deep draft make them more appealing. Add in the fact that it's home for AD, not.to mention the 3rd biggest market. I cant see why he wouldn't.
