Ok, this is a safe place and we're a community here.

To find the percentage of two numbers, you just divide them and then multiply by 100.

Example - What percentage is 1764 of 18768?

1764 / 18768 = 0.093 x 100 = 9.3%

Also, working in the opposite direction, you divide the percentage by 100 and then multiply the two numbers.

Example - What's 23% of 13446?

23 / 100 = .23 x 13446 = 3,092.58
