Anybody ever watch videos on Youtube with people finding their ancestry using DNA tests. It's really weird how different groups react. Like the people in Europe were getting excited for every percentage they saw that wasn't the race or ethnicity they identified as. They'd be like "Oh, I'm 2.3% Ashkenazi. Yay, I'm a Jew." The African Americans I saw were relieved for every percentage that wasn't outside of the race they identified as. So they'd be like "Oh, good, I'm only 15% European." The difference in perspective is understandable, but it's weird as hell when you really take a step back and think about it.
