2022/23 NBA Season Thread

The Lakers don't have a #1 undisputed go-to player this year. Time has been great to Lebron's NBA career, but he should be the #2 or #3 best player on a championship team. AD is barely a #2, but his durability may make him more suitable as the #3 best player in your team.

That was one of the main issues with the Lakers failing to get the third star even before they won the title in 2020. It was asking too much for an old man Lebron to carry the team and they were fortunate for the rest that AD and Lebron were able to get before the season resumed.

The dismantling of the post-championship roster along with trading for Westbrook and giving Zubac away for absolutely nothing are scary signs that maybe the owner/management does not know what they are doing. At this rate they will need to hope that Westbrook seriously raises his trade value, but they still won't get anything that makes them a contender.

-Harden missing a month
-Thybulle not getting time
-Danuel house sucks but they got a pick taken from them for him
-Tucker is overpaid and incredibly old and they got a pick taken from them
-Embiid is already missing time and not in shape
-Fans want Doc fired already
-Trez is ehh
-tobias is STILL there

melton and maxey have been bright spots though

And it’s only been like two weeks

What’s the problem?

ineatched the game and the whistle didn’t blow or couldn’t couldn’t hear with 1 second left so he had to take that shot.

That's exactly how I see it...it was reactionary more than anything and given the situation you could understand.

I don't see it as a shaqin' a fool moment
