How bad do you think the nets have to be record wise for upper management to turn on nash? Who do you think gets the job? Who do you hope gets it? Quinn Snyder? Would you take ime udoka if he were to resign from the Celtics job?

if the Nets have a poor month of November I don’t think Nash makes it to Christmas. The problem is they aren’t playing bad overall but they go through stretches where they implode defensively and it costs them winnable games. And I bet Marks would use this same logic to justify keeping Nash.

but there needs to be a new voice my hope would be Phil Handy cause this is a dude Kyrie campaigned for. Idk if he’s available so the best available option would be Snyder. But if Ime became available I’d snatch him back with the QUICKNESS.

Hmm haven’t seen 5th letter post since the game

This is the most expensive year of his contract at $27 mil and then it steadily goes down from there

It’s not a bad contract at all

At the time we laughed about how the Knicks went about this but it’s really not bad at all

His contract not even too far off from a guy like Anfernee Simons
All of their contracts descend I believe

Kevin Durant’s numbers are hollow so far.
I was thinking about Durant during the game and I think Zeke’s comments made me think to myself

I haven’t felt like Durant has made a significant impact on the NBA landscape since he left the warriors

Yeah he takes that late game shot sometimes and misses mostly but outside of that he’ll just quietly score 32

The last season I think where he made an impact was in the 2020-21 season. Remember that epic game 7 he had vs the bucks and him wearing a bigger shoe was the difference between the nets getting to the ECF? He’s still the best big man shooter of all time but he doesn’t really impact the game with his scoring anymore

In Game 4 of the first round of the playoffs, Durant scored 42 points in a 141–126 win over the Boston Celtics to take a 3–1 lead in the series. In Game 5, he scored 24 points in a 123–109 win to close out the series. In Game 1 against the Milwaukee Bucks in the conference semifinals, Durant had 29 points and 10 rebounds in a 115–107 win. In Game 5, Durant put up 49 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists, leading the Nets to a 114–108 comeback win. In Game 7 against the Bucks, Durant dropped 48 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, including a two-pointer to send the game into overtime, in the 115–111 loss; Durant's 48 points were the most in a Game 7 in NBA playoff history.
