Great first game from paolo

Cory Joseph lame ass deserved to get dunked on

wanna see how paolo does against better defense

You don't strike me as the type to listen to media takes about hoops.
hot take surface level media I don’t listen to but I do heed the words of ppl who actually know what they’re talking about. Sometimes they say things I don’t agree with which is natural

But I do agree with the notion that the Sixers need at minimum to make the ECF with this roster. I don’t see Philly having a better team than this in the Embiid era so if this don’t work then…idk

As far as Tucker, players typically look better in Miami than where they go after and I do agree with you with the overpay and I am relieved Tucker isn’t here for 3 years being that old. Him being gone allows us to revamp how we run offense a bit and change our style of play to a more offensive oriented approach. (Herro starting lends to that as well) Jovic being drafted also let me know miami doesn’t want what happened in the playoffs to happen again and I like it.

just have to figure out the defense to get it back to snuff. Which is the main reason why we lost last night. This also is a bad time in the schedule for this issue since this stretch is extremely difficult out the gate for Miami and I wouldn’t be surprised if we go 4-6 after 10 games or something

we’ll make it up later

yeah I know you didn’t ask for all of this but just sharing some Insight

FWIW I hated the PJ signing. Defense is overrated in today's game and he makes way to much money to give you 2 or 3 corner threes a game.

I don’t wanna diminish what Pj brings I do think he helps teams quite a bit but I feel what you’re saying. I was kinda relieved he left. I didn’t want to be undersized at both frontcourt positions anymore

It works next to Embiid and with harden, tobias and maxey he should be able to focus on defense and spacing with corner threes

he not gonna be as potent on offense as he was in Miami but he don’t need to be.

My advice is, don’t worry about the contract value it hardly means anything. Just having him in your face for 3 years is the issue. Especially if you don’t win. You gotta hope he stays healthy too. Tucker don’t even look like he stretches lol
