I feel like if Gandalf, Radagast, and Saruman aren't in this time zone then that'd be a legit complaint if the showrunners included them. Wonder if it's some magic user before their time. That'd be nice to include someone new that was before them
Folks that watch the show aren't necessarily tied to the books tho

It makes more sense to make it a character today's audience would know. And Radagast to me isn't strong enough of a character

Maybe im confused lookin at this wiki. One of them shits said that some of the Maiar became wizards. That would make sense to me since them Eminem ass niggas confused the stranger for Sauron cuz they are the same kinda being
Sauron and the Maiar (which 5 become Istar) are the same but they aren't good and evil before they get to middle earth.

Just Sauron. And then Saruman after he got seduced by Sauron

So they are the same race then....bet

I’ve noticed something with this and She-hulk…. a lot of y’all either don’t know or are fine with bad writing. They even forgot what happened in an earlier episode of the show. Halbrand saved Galadriel on that raft, not the other way around.

Literally all of this is Galadriel’s fault. Dude told her numerous times to leave me in Numenoor. He told her he found the patch on a dead man, he never told her he was the king of the south lands. Plus why is nobody freaked out that Sauron was right there and just got them to make the rings LIKE HE WANTED THEM TO?

Oh, and the Harfoots had NO impact on the story AT ALL. Why were they there besides to be boring?

I thought they saved each other

Didn't they save the wizard?
What impact did that have on the show? Nothing the Harfoots did had an impact except for their parts. You coulda cut that arc out of the show completely and missed nothing.

And Sauron's plan depended on a lot of stuff going down for it to actually work. Stuff that he couldn't have possibly seen happening. Orcs digging waterways and tunnels into volcanoes just because, then finding that sword which just so happened to be a key to knock down a brick that started the water into the volcano. Like...what?

She was drowning and he pulled her up onto the raft after that fish thingy attacked them

I mean he was bout to fall off the raft and she was screaming bind yourself to me give me your hand before she fell off tryna help him.

HIe did dive in to save her after she fell off tho.

It was an interesting story. This was supposed to encompass a lot more of the entire world

I get it, but that's not saving someone's life

We have a very different perspective on what's "interesting" lol. Nothing about that part did anything for me. It was like it's own universe.

the attempt was made. If she aint try I dont think he woulda felt inclined to save her ass either lol
I mean yea I give her credit for that, but regardless Halbrand saved her life so them messing that up just shows these writers were not very good. How you forget your own story?

And another thing that I didn't like about the Harfoots. How your motto "no one gets left behind" yet you have a whole book of people that you indeed did leave behind? What about them getting mad at the stranger because that little girl got a tree branch dropped on her while he was healing it? Or what about the lady wanting to leave Nori and her family behind?
